Vision

To celebrate the life of Marybeth Wangui Kanduthu, and continue her legacy of pursuit of excellence in media and communication.

Mission

To walk individuals through their development in the media and communication industry; and provide them with the support, training and exposure necessary to build a solid foundation for future excellence.

Core Values

1. Christian Values

We believe in one God, Jesus Christ.

We endeavour, in all our dealings, to be worthy of the love and blessings we experience because we know Him; to show our thanks for having been graced with the presence and the light of Marybeth Wangui in our lives; to show others, in word and deed, what it means to be Of Greatness.

2. Excellence

We pursue Excellence as a matter of principle. Marybeth held herself to the highest standard in everything she did and with every person she interacted with. In all our interactions, with each other, with others, with those we teach and those we learn from, we strive to do and be our best. In this, we find our definition of success; from what we are able to give, and not in what we gain.

3. Integrity

We do the right thing, for the right reason. Marybeth acted with the intention of doing the right thing by everyone she interacted with. Her moral inclination also allowed her to spot injustices, which she took personal responsibility to rectify, as far as she could, whenever she could. We emulate Marybeth in this quality, by always striving to be guided by our moral principles in our dealings, and treating everyone in a just and equitable manner.

4. Compassion

We will go out of our way to give help. She helped her family, her neighbours, her friends, her colleagues, strangers. The compassion Marybeth showed each of us must be that which we allow to shine through, and hopefully inspire others to extend the same onward.

5. Transparency

We have nothing to hide. Marybeth was a shining light to everyone she interacted with. Wheth-er personal or professional, she was upfront, clear, illuminating. In our function, we will allow no room for question as to how or why; as we will be honest, trustworthy and straightforward in all our dealings.

6. Creativity

No limits. We do not think outside the box, because we do not recognise any box to begin with. Wherever and however we can be our best, and inspire others to the same, is where we will go and what we will do. Marybeth defied any definition ever placed on her and we do not seek to impose any now.

7. Self-Respect

We show respect, because we have respect. For ourselves, for each other, we honour the God that created us in his image and carry ourselves with dignity and confidence, knowing that what we have in us resides in all of us and no person or situation will ever diminish our value, which comes from an infinite source.

8. Fun

We will laugh, we will sing, we will dance. We strive to bring joy and happiness to those we in-teract with, to remind them, and ourselves, that even as we work to solve problems and bridge gaps, we have blessings right here and right now, that we can rejoice in.
