A native of Embu County, Eunice was born and raised at The Child Welfare Embu Children’s Home from a tender age following the untimely death of her mother. At the age of six years, Eunice was reunited with her family, her uncle Jacob Murithi and aunt Emily Murugi who took her into their loving arms and raised her in Mbeere South, Kiritiri. Being reunited with her family including her two elder sisters Risper Kagendo (firstborn) and Christine Karimi (second born) who showed her the love and guidance she required growing as an orphan. Eunice developed passion journalism at a tender age when she would watch local TV and listen to radio shows that helped transport her into another world. She worked hard through school hoping to one day achieve her dream to study and practice as a Journalist. Her favorite TV personality is Citizen TV’s, Kanze Dena.

She is currently pursuing a diploma in Journalism at the Multimedia University of Kenya.
